BUY THE WINE

Simon Field | Deep color, densely saturated and uncompromising. A touch of volatility belies the floral potential of a rose garden at the end of the season, then the palate amplifi es these notes and undermines the potential, with little indication of letting up. | 84

Andrew Jefford | Dark, clear purple-red. Fresh and raspberryish, but a little volatile; some stemmy grassiness behind. Juicy and fresh; red cherry, raspberry, and raspberry vinegar, with soft tannins but some finishing flavory asperities. | 81

Charles Metcalfe | A touch of volatile acidity and oxidation to the nose, which carries through onto the palate. Lightish weight, with high acidity and firm tannins. But not in good shape. | 73
