Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | One of the very best cru bourgeois wines of the vintage, and the most complete wine from the Dourthe properties selection, which is in no way inferior to a good classed growth. Balanced, noble tannins, and a secure future. Exceptional value for money. Tasted twice. | 93
Michael Schuster | Dense and gravelly to smell, and oak- vanillary, too; rich, vital in acidity, finely/oakily tannic; a lovely Cabernet cassis fruit, warm, gently spicy, very juicy, but finesse, complexity and elegance, too; along with the tannic muscle of St-Estèphe—without excess—and with a very nice fruit length. The extra class from a great deal more Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend really shows. This has the hallmark of the best of the year, a combination of very ripe fruit plus a lovely defining freshness. Excellent Le Bosq. 2026–36+. | 90–91
