Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Harmonious elegance, deep and stylish, wine with fine intensity. | 94
Michael Schuster | Dense, restrained, lightly oak vanillary to smell; rich, fresh, elegant, slightly oak-dry in tannin, a fine balance in the “old” new style! Freshly sweet, fine-grained, transparent, if still a bit oak-dry in texture, which makes the subtleties less easy to see and appreciate. That said, this is long and fine and complex, aromatically subtle, and with very good persistence on the finish. You do sense the fineness, the finesse, of the terroir, though you also feel that the wine could still be made to reflect this even more clearly. Fairly Long-term wine, and it should be lovely eventually. 2030–44+. | 92–94
