Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | At this stage, the wine is still impressive with its rather austere power. These seriously big, stylish tannins will need to be tamed through élevage. | 92
Michael Schuster | Seductively sweet, floral nose; rich, finely tannic (if a touch wood-dry), very lively in acidity; crisply sweet, tight, focused, linear wine, pure, transparent, and with a lovely flavor (you taste on the palate what you smell on the nose), as well as fine length. Stylish, elegant St-Emilion, where the higher proportion of Cabernet Franc this year seems to be clear. Only an extra 4 percent, but it does seem to mark the wine in terms of subtlety and fragrance. Very nice. 2027–37+. | 91–93
