BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | No frost-related effects in what is a particularly complete, delicious, fully botrytized wine with a very long finish. This wine will go as far as the 1947, with the delicate fruit better preserved, since the volatile acidity can now be better controlled by the winemakers. | 95

Michael Schuster | Nicely defined, honeyed nose, subtle and persistent; moderately concentrated medium-full wine with a freshly defining acidity; sweet, lively, and some complexity of flavor but, at least on the basis of my sample, tailing off disappointingly on the finish. | 87–89
