Victoria Daskal | Vivid bruised-apple, quince, and lemon aromas that reappear on the palate with a crisp acid bite and delicate texture. Slowly moves along the palate withatantalizing, mouthwatering finish. | 93
Jamie Goode | Intense and lively, with some cream, wax, and spice notes alongside the keen lemony fruit. There’s some herb and straw character, too. Vivid and powerful, with lots of personality. | 94
Andrew Jefford | Full light gold. Fine complexity and wealth of aroma here: commanding orchard fruits (apple, quince, apricot), with great subtlety and complexity. Honey and wax behind—and a hint of the aromatic bitterness of botrytis? On the palate, a little less complex than the nose had suggested, but a resonant palate nonetheless, with magnificently ripe, sustained, and fruit- saturated acidity carrying the complexity of fruit and the aromatic allusions all the way through to a long finish. Outstanding Chenin Blanc pitched just off-dry. Apples and rosehips to finish: very palate-cleansing. | 94
