Victoria Daskal | Decadent layers of apple strudel, lemon curd, and toasty, spiced oak. Large and luxurious but well balanced, with evolved flavors that create a complex and harmonious experience. A tiny bit of spice on the finish. | 97
Jamie Goode | Intriguing stuff, with a very stony, savory, mineral edge to the ripe baked-apple and pear fruit. Has some spice and nut character on the finish. Carries a little bit of sweetness really well. Has presence and focus. | 93
Andrew Jefford | Clear mid-gold. You might almost guess that this wine was a year or two older than it in fact is: warm, articulate, enticing, with seamlessly honeyed autumn fruits, freighted down with mists and fruitfulness. A similar style on the palate, though perhaps it is a little less fine, concentrated, focused, and interfolded than the aromas suggested. Nonetheless, this is a residual-sugar style (just 6g/l) that works well. Lime-cordial freshness to finish. | 87
