BUY THE WINE

Victoria Daskal | Pure and primary aromas of just sliced granny smith, squeezed lemon, and sweet honey blossoms. Ever so slight grip on the palate, medium weight and more complex flavors than first suggested on the nose, with the addition of waxy wool, cream, and toast. | 92

Jamie Goode | Stony straw and herb notes here on the nose, leading to a palate that has juicy lemons, some green apple, and vital acidity. Very stony, a bit structured, and with some intensely savory characters, as well as fruit. Quite angular. | 92

Andrew Jefford | Pale straw gold. Rich and attractive dense weave of scent: flowers, ginger, wax, baked pastry. Excitingly enticing and very classic, though a little less subtle than some. Soft, vivid, sappy, and rich, with lots of aromatic presence and charm: bread, flowers, citrus fruits, orchard fruits. Long finish, with understated vinosity; outstanding balance between the almost Germanic aromatic charm and the very French wealth and structure of this wine. Nutty finish. | 91
