BUY THE WINE

Victoria Daskal | Pale gold. Stewed red apples with a swirl of mixed spice. Sensational texture, nervous acidity bouncing off a rich, rounded palate. Long on the palate, with cloves, blossoms, and apple lingering to the end. | 93

Jamie Goode | The nose shows some apple and lemon character. The palate is rounded, textured, and quite rich, with a cedary spiciness sitting under orange, lemon, and pear fruit. Slightly oxidative in style. | 90

Andrew Jefford | Full gold. Relatively inarticulate on the nose: soft and doughy, almost Pinot Gris-like. Suggests lusciousness but doesn’t put much fruit profile in to it aromatically. On the palate, this is rather a weighty wine, dry and long, though with the poised acidity of the place. Sound and unshowy. | 87
