Michael Schuster | Dark red; very subtle and refined on the nose, amply filling the large glass with its presence; a beautifully poised balance, elegant, fine, gently fresh in acidity, silky textured in tannin; sweet, aromatic, graceful, elegant, as "poised" to taste as it is to smell, a Nuits-St-Georges of remarkable harmony, finesse, completeness, long and effortless to taste, with a finish of great, sweet, and scented length, and a slightly firmer tannin texture on the finish the sole pointer to its commune. A purring ease of performance, a glorious premier cru, absolutely lovely Burgundy. Sadly, there is almost nothing of it in 2016! 2022–40+. | 94–95
