Michael Schuster | Dark purple; dense, gently oak-marked, a real sense of matter here; rich, vital in acidity, firm in tannin, a gentle muscularity, and a relatively Long-term constitution in the context of these wines; deep, vivid, sweet-cored, ripe red and black cherry in taste, fruit emphatic, robust, mouthcoating, very long. This is quite powerful, yet also full of fragrance alongside the fruit. Tight and closed at the moment, with more thew and less allure than the Vosnes, it is nonetheless a fine, long-term grand cru performance. 2030–50+. | 95–96
