Neil Beckett | This comes from deep soil at the bottom of a combe, but has as much mineral race as wines from higher up. Luminous mid-ruby. An intense nose: dark fruit, licorice, light white-pepper lift (a small proportion of stems was retained for some cuvées). Very good balance and poise, classy, refined, finely woven tannins, neither sags not tightens up, and excellent freshness and length for the level. Outstanding Fixin, outstanding village wine. | 90
