Neil Beckett | Here again, the concentration of old vines and the vintage, well controlled and directed in the cellar, have given a very worthy wine. Intense, luminous mid-ruby. Already a classy, complex, promsing scent: earthy and savory, but good dark fruit intensity, too. Densely layered, silken entry, very impressive richness and ripeness, firm but smooth tannins, plenty of supportive structure but seamless top to bottom, and with great momentum. At once appetizing and gourmand, the backbone proper for the cru, but fleshy seduction as well. | 94
