Neil Beckett | Intense medium ruby. Ripe dark cherry and an intricate floral-mineral weave, if less clearly one or the other than some of its siblings. A little more focused on the palate, with a little more grain to the tannin, which is still very fine. Perfectly ripe (relatively late-picked), but at the same altitude as Clos des Ducs on the other side of the village, and with the mineral restraint of its upslope site. | 92
