Neil Beckett | Even when shown after some other stellar grands crus in the range, including Latricières- Chambertin, Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Les Ouvrées Rodin, and Musigny, this is strikingly good and no less special. Moreover, after a half-crop in 2015, there was, happily, an almost normal yield in 2016. An exciting nose of red and black fruit, light licorice, and spice. Densely layered but elegant, with gentle, super-fine tannins, and all animated by wonderful energy and vitality. Superb. | 95
