BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Garnet to pink. A touch animal, developed nose, yet complex with small black fruits and hints of road tar. Medium to full body, with refined tannins and a long, complex finish. | 91

Stephen Brook | Fairly deep color for Nebbiolo. Lively if waxy raspberry nose, sleek and polished. Suave attack, juicy and vibrant, with an abundance of tannins crawling onto the palate. Plenty of energy here, and high ripeness that gives immediacy on the palate. Firm without being too robust or austere, and the finish is fairly long. Moreish. | 91

Andrew Jefford | Deep, clear russet-red. Warm and harmonious, though lacking a little focus and precision. Some tarry warmth: generous and enticing. Deep, generous, bitter-edged, too, with relatively soft tannins; slightly sticky or twiggy in style, lacking some purity, amplitude, and resonance, but this is a satisfying glass of Barolo nonetheless. | 85
