BUY THE WINE

Jesús Barquín | Deep, almost opaque cherry. The nose is closed and mineral, gradually opening to fruit notes that later expand on the palate. Fresh, with good acidity, soft tannins, and a long finish that has echoes of mineral and red berries. | 92

Andrew Jefford | Dark, opaque black-red. Lively, sweet, fresh, and pure; the wine’s color auto-suggests black fruits, but to me this smells more of cherry or raspberry. Generous but slightly unsubtle. Smooth, lively, fresh; less tannin and grip than some of its peers but fine fruit qualities, very pure and deft, very fresh, with the “mineral” flavors of the place figuring in the finish, too. | 89

Richard Mayson | Deep, youthful, and opaque; a touch of spearmint on the nose, alongside open, ripe, berry-fruit aromas; well-structured on the palate, firm, ripe tannins over fresh minty fruit, some depth here with lovely definition on the finish. Still fresh and sappy with balance here, too. | 92
