Jesús Barquín | Deep, almost opaque cherry. Spicy nose with notes of cedar and vanilla over a fruit background that takes over the palate. Good structure, acidity, firm and earthy tannins, good persistence. | 92

Andrew Jefford | Deep, dark black-red in color. Sweet, soft, and warm blackberry and cherry scents; a hint of bay leaf. This has eased away from its primary charm but retains a lot of aromatic subtlety and finesse. On the palate, it is deep, pure, long, and poised, like a bird in flight; that stone-fresh acidity has the upper hand, but the tannins and wealth of fruit provide plenty of support. Just teased to early full ripeness; there’s a little sweet voluptuousness, perfectly freshened by the ripe, fruit-saturated acids. Very good wine. | 91

Richard Mayson | Deep, youthful crimson rim; tight-knit and utterly closed to begin with on the nose, giving very little away other than a hint of minty ripeness and cherry-stone fruit; lovely ripe berry and plum fruit on the palate, fresh, ripe, and well defined, withatouch of well-integrated oak to round off the wine and a firm but rather short finish. | 88
