Neil Beckett | The clay in the soil and high vine-age allowed this to survive the water stress over the summer more successfully than the Damodes, explains the brilliant and candid technical director Jérôme Flous, who was able to use 20% whole-bunch for this cuvée. Medium ruby. A lovely intensity to the roseate scent. Still a little CO2 in the sample from tank, but even so this is elegant, racy, silky, and stylish, with very good harmony and intensity. Still a little dryness underneath from the well-managed stems, but excellent potential. | 90
