Michael Schuster | Pale red; slightly reduced to smell; moderately concentrated, fresh, very gently tannic; sweet and pure and delicate to taste, with a clear, gentle racy quality, less immediate richness than the Colombière, but with a gentle resonance and a bright, fresh, penetrating quality that takes you by surprise as it develops across the palate; this is a finer, but more delicate wine, requiring a closer look to appreciate it. An initially shy beauty... but more than repaying a closer acquaintance; a wine of great purity, with a really beautiful, seductively sweet perfume on the finish. 2022–30+. | 93
