Anne Krebiechl | Dark, sumptuous cherry and dark peony impress on the nose. The palate is generous with the same aromatic fruit but kept in a very firm, assertive frame of drying, fine tannins. Freshness brings out the aromatic side of the fruit. Again, this is very powerful for Volnay but also elegant. Juicy cherry makes for an appetizing finish. | 91
