Neil Beckett | A special cuvée of this top premier cru in honor of Jean-Baptiste's grandfather and made using his techniques, including 100% whole-bunch and foot-pigeage. Mid-ruby, dullish luster. A characterful nose, savory from the stems but not at all forbidding, still with lovely dark cherry fruit behind. Very silky entry, with the depth and firm structure to evolve well.
