Alex Hunt | Very juicy, blackberry-pastille aroma. Soft tannin, sour acidity, but rather generic fruit and even slightly minty—the Pinot character is muted. | 83
Andrew Jefford | Deep, dark, clear black-red. Fresh, very primary red fruits; ample charm; a little nascent finesse, too. A big mouthful of cherry blossom and cherry fruit in the mouth. No tannin at all; soft, easy acidity; a gentle sweetness to the fruit. It would need a bit more structural effort and concentration to talk about a Chambolle of the Andes, but stylistically that is the kind of direction this is heading in. | 85
Anthony Rose | Bright cherryish ruby in color, this is initially a tad subdued on the nose, though it opens out nicely on the palate, with a good, intense, weighty quality of concentrated loganberry-like fruitiness framed by subtle oak and supple yet present tannins, moderated by a fine spine of fresh acidity and ending with a finely textured, balanced flourish. | 92
