Alex Hunt | Flat, simple, lightweight aroma. This is a little evolved already, at less than two years old, and is starting to dry out. A very slender and insubstantial offering. | 80
Andrew Jefford | Clear, mid-depth of red-black. Sweet, warm, soft-contoured and unfocused, but attractive. This is lively and fresh, with some poised ripeness, and it even has a little tannic shaping, which is so welcome in this tasting of utterly smooth Pinots. Some real ambition here, and a Pinot with a little classic dignity, which I’d enjoy drinking. | 89
Anthony Rose | Youthful pale ruby showing a hint of garnet at the rim of the glass, bright, fresh, red-berry fruit on the nose and ditto on the palate, a nicely fresh and cherryish fruit quality that’s juicy in texture yet carries enough tannic grip and refreshing acidity for a good balanced finish. | 89
