Alex Hunt | Bright and crunchy, if simple, cranberry/apple aromas. Nice texture up front, a bit tart at the end. Well-made, generic light red wine more than a really characteristic Pinot. | 84
Andrew Jefford | A bright cherry red in color. Pretty coloring- book cherry on the nose, and an ample, smooth, bright, and classical Pinot palate, with just a little grassy-acid sinew to give it shape and form (no tannins here, of course). Presumably an inexpensive wine and wholly recommendable as a basic varietal, but we are a long way from “fine wine.” Within the context of this tasting, one of the better wines, for sure. | 88
Anthony Rose | Pale in color, youthful primary aromas of sweet red berry, quite juicy and fresh on the tongue, an easy-quaffing juicy Pinot with a rather charming fresh purity of fruit flavor and textural freshness, if lacking a tad in depth and concentration. | 86
