Alex Hunt | Dusty, light plummy fruit aromas. Confected palate, with cranberry-jelly aromas quickly giving way to a short, dusty finish. | 79
Andrew Jefford | Deep but clear black-red. Fresh, warm, and sweet-fruited though soft-contoured. Supple and enticing, though. One of the most generously contoured wines in the tasting, this has ample folds of cherry-plum-strawberry fruit and some welcome palate weight. Mouth-filling and satisfying, yet at the same time with the purity and lift proper to the variety. A good effort, if very clearly toward the ripe end of the spectrum. | 88
Anthony Rose | Quite evolved in color for its age, not showing a lot on the nose, overly powerful and muscular fruit quality suggesting more dry-red than Pinot character, despite some pleasant mid-palate cherryish fruit sweetness. | 86
