BUY THE WINE

Alex Hunt | Heavy, oxidized aroma. Soupy and tired on the palate. Gone already. | 74

Andrew Jefford | Deep, dark black-red. Some clearly meaty- sweet Pinot fruit here, though decidedly warm and glowing in style. Lush, full, rich, evolved but not unattractive, with genuine vinosity, perfume of age, density, concentration, and refinement. The acidic edges are just beginning to close in. A well-made, amply structured wine that retains some Pinot flavor. Meaty, gratifying finish. Excellent, Bekaa-like wine, but I’m not actually recommending burghounds to hunt it down... We have come a long way from the Côte d’Or ideal. | 89

Anthony Rose | A very ripe nose heading toward baked in character, slightly obtrusive oak-spicy notes behind it, ripe, sweet, and concentrated dark- cherry fruit veering toward baked fruit on the palate, with chunky, inelegant tannins and heady alcohol. | 85
