Alex Hunt | A touch of extra ripeness has taken this aroma into a nice raspberry-blackberry part of the Pinot spectrum. The palate is full and supple, with bright (too bright?) acidity but marred by a mousy flavor that leaves it bitter on the finish. | 82
Andrew Jefford | Deep red-black. Sweet, vanillic cherry fruits; straightforward charm. Well, a touch sweaty, too. Deep, but rather stewy and muddled on the palate, with mixed ripeness of fruit (some herbaceous notes, as well as very sweet notes in here). | 78
Anthony Rose | Medium ruby in color, this is pleasingly perfumed with strawberry and cherry fruit framed by a hint of vanilla oak, while the fruit on the palate is juicily textured and opulent, showing a certain youthful muscularity of texture offset by good bright fresh acidity and a slightly drying chunky finish that cries out for food. A few months in bottle would help soften things down to the desired level of drinkability. | 89
