Alex Hunt | An odd sort of burned-sugar aroma on top of the berry-jelly fruit. Slightly tarry and brown-sugar flavored in the mouth, partly on account of tertiary development, despite the wine’s relative youth. Strangely unfruity and austere. | 80
Andrew Jefford | Relatively pale black-red. Light grassy scents, though it’s dry summer grass rather than anything greener. There’s a sense of fleshlessness here on the aromas, which the palate unfortunately amply fulfills; I couldn’t manage a glass of this. | 74
Anthony Rose | Evolving to garnet in color, the nose of this Chilean Pinot intriguingly combines evolving sweet cherry fruit characters with floral rosehip and a touch of malt; the palate has softened down nicely, with a ripe, sweet, evolved, juicy-textured fruit character showing hints of balsam and savory richness: a New World Pinot in Côte de Beaune Burgundy clothing, drinking beautifully now, thanks to its supple texture and fine blend of sweet and sour acidity. | 90
