BUY THE WINE

Alex Hunt | Dusty, biscuity nose. Juicy, crunchy entry; mousy, pinched finish. There is not enough here to enjoy. | 78

Andrew Jefford | Deep, dark black-red. Meaty, earthy, undergrowthy Pinot aromas of some intrigue, but hardly classical, and it may well be setting off in an undesirable direction. Overt, stewy flavors: a soft muddle that I couldn’t relish drinking. There is some TCA in here, so we have to look at another bottle. Bottle 2: A slightly cleaner version without TCA but still a wine that I feel is compromised and unrecommendable. | 72

Anthony Rose | Quite pale, evolving to garnet in color, this is vitamin-B12 meaty on the nose, very savory, with just a touch of sweet fading fruit on the palate, ending on a rustic dry note that’s not very Pinot in character. | 82
