BUY THE WINE

Stephen Brook: Ripe lemony nose, great zest and aromatic lift. Lean, racy, quite concentrated, withataut structure; ample acidity beneath the fruit. Finely balanced, but lean and citric on the finish, too, with quite good length. 16.5

Jancis Robinson: Competent, light aromas. Lots of delicate ripe Riesling fruit harnessed by a corset of acidity and perceptible astringency. Needs time. Will always be a lightish wine. Very racy. 14

Alexander Scott: In every respect very similar to the Pfaffenwies Spatlese Trocken, so much so that maybe we are with the same estate and the winemaking is taking the upper hand over the terroir. Perhaps I just give it to the vim of the Pfaffenwies by a head. 15
