BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Lovely colour, succulent raspberry nose, but not such spicy tannins or flavours as some – more of a floral/fruity profile, with finer tannins. One of the most delicate Pauillacs we tasted. 15.5

Margaret Rand: Bright, ripe, focused, pure, spicy fruit and lots of depth. The tannins are supple and the finish is very tight and confident. 17.5

Michael Schuster: Slightly ‘inky’ ripe fruit to smell – blackcurrant and mineral. Medium-full wine with a good core of ripe blackcurrant fruit within a very firm tannin, moderate complexity, good medium length – fruit especially. Fairly severe. 14.5
