Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Lovely colour, generous fruit, firm tannins, mouth-filling and easy-going – less refined than some but built for ageing. 15

Margaret Rand: Supple and spicy, with a good core of concentrated fruit. Very supple tannins indeed, and very long. Balance is excellent. This will be absolutely up to scratch. 17
