Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: One of the triumphs of the St-Emilion vintage, with a nose of incomparable finesse, thanks to supremely ripe Cabernets and majestically extracted tannins that give a silkiness and elegance almost equal to those of the Cheval Blanc. Far the best wine to issue from this cru since it was acquired by the Caille family, and indeed the best-made wine we’ve seen here in a long time. 17.5
