Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: A model of classicism: full-coloured, with a very complex flavour profile and particularly nimble, elegant tannins. Minutely crafted, but not at the expense of the natural expression of its terroir. 17

Margaret Rand: Chewy, with wonderful perfumed fruit, very long and concentrated. 17.5

Michael Schuster: Dense, sweet, cassis nose. Rich, elegantly balanced wine, with firm tannin (much of it from new oak) but also a long, quite complex palate of ripe fruit beneath the tannins. Juicy, sapid, long, spicy. A very good Trottevieille in the ‘new’ style. 15.5
