Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: The recent processes of malolactic fermentation left a good many of the Fronsac wines with ferocious tannins that will only soften after years of careful development. The Trois Croix exhibited more harmonious texture than most, with greater finesse on the end palate and a very pretty note of fresh red fruits on the mid-palate. A very dexterously crafted wine. 14.5
