Michael Schuster: Bright greeny-gold; closed, but fresh and minerally to smell; a noticeably elegant balance for the year, with a fine defining acidity; very sweet and rich and almost tropical in taste, but all the while with a refined, juicy purity and a lovely tenacity of flavor, followed by excellent length. A particularly elegant and stylish wine from this potentially magnificent, but erratically expressed, terroir. 2012–35+. 17.5
