Jancis Robinson: Red/garnet. Nice, some power, warmth, spice. Good, structured style, but the fruit kicks in a bit late, wood dominates the foretaste. But it does come together before wood, again, starts to dominate on the finish. Drink up. 14

Jeremy Watson: Elegant, even noble wine with lots of life left. Good structure and extract with bags of tannins throughout. The colour is delightful. 18
