Jancis Robinson: (First bottle) Garnet/tawny. Sightly ‘off’ – a bit oxidised. Gone – faded, old liquorice. A wine with a great future behind it. (Second bottle) Garnet/tawny. Faded but still alive – dried rose petals. Decent, clean palate, fading fast but still drinkable. Drink up very soon. 12.5
Jeremy Watson: Bright, soft brick colour, distinctly attractive mix of oak and fruits on the nose, with nicely balanced acids and tannins with good finish. 17
