BUY THE WINE

Alison Buchanan: Very attractive honeyed nose, complementing tropical fruit – very ripe. Palate very rich, creamy fruit, some spice and stony minerality. Decent balance. 15

Nicolas Belfrage: Medium-depth colour. Nose of outstanding presence and character – herbs and spices mixed with green berry fruit, gooseberry. Oak nicely integrated, palate creamy, clean and continuous with good length at end. Very fine. 18.5

Alex Hunt: Softly oaky, plumply peachy wine that lacks some finesse but is an indulgently enjoyable drink. 14
