Alison Buchanan: Ragù nose: meat, onions and mixed herbs – very bizarre. Even more so, this is reflected on the palate. Despite the shock factor – and the question of when to drink it – there is balance here, and tropical fruit and nuts do eventually come good. Medium finish. 12.5

Nicolas Belfrage: Medium depth, perfumed. Quite rich with good balancing acidity; touch of oak that works; nicely made. Inventive, original. 16

Alex Hunt: Open earthy/floral nose. Quite richly textured, but strongly mineral as well – a nice counterpoint. 14.5
