Alison Buchanan: Ooh err… quite a nose. Slightly strange, it presents an intense ‘essence of cat’s pee/cut grass’ nose. Very intense. On the palate, it is just too blowsy to achieve the finest balance. Honeyed/white flowers and very, very sweet – impressive achievement if this is the aim – but ultimately exhausting. 12
Nicolas Belfrage: Bright nose and lots of concentrated fruit in mouth, a little residual sugar. Clean, good length; fruit comes through rather than oak. Late picked? A hint of residual sugar. 15.5
Alex Hunt: Neutral aromatically, but very pleasant weight and spice on the palate. Some creamy muskiness adds interest and complexity. 14.5
