Alison Buchanan: Oaky, smoky vanilla-rich nose, rancid butter notes. Nose is just too lactic and buttery, butterscotch taking precedence over what could have been good fruit, since there is some citrus contrast here, even some mineral sublingual freshness, bludgeoned by injudicious use of oak. Great pity. Long, buttery finish. 13
Nicolas Belfrage: Lets the side down with good fruit but too much oak. PB’s aromas are too subtle for this treatment. 14
Alex Hunt: Tired, oxidised. 6
