Andrew Jefford: Pretty, mid-depth of colour, with some oak to fill out the aromas. Vivid, exuberant yet softly textured mouthful of lively cherry fruit, yet with much better backbone behind than for the village wine. Well-handled tannins add amplitude without drying the fruit.
