Andrew Jefford: Warm, round, earthy scents, glowing and brambly: autumn in a glass. A much bigger, thicker wine than the other grands crus, both in terms of its tannic mass and the glycerousness of high alcohol; chewy and firm. Tannins a touch dry to finish.
