Neil Beckett: Medium cherry/ruby. Ripe and spicy on the nose, and very sweet entry, too. Adequate grip, which suggests that it was right not to use any pigeage this year, though the ripeness of the tannins suggests that they might have been given a little more trust. Satin- smooth texture, but only moderate intensity of fruit on the mid-palate and finish. The name seems apt – properly proportioned, but rather small in scale.
