Neil Beckett: Light-medium ruby. Harmonious nose, restrained but stylish. Again, strikingly sweet initial impression, but enough acidity to balance the ripeness, and gently rubbery, succulent tannins. Good length, but not quite the complexity or intensity one might hope for in a Gevrey grand cru this vintage. Adequately clad, certainly, but travelling light.
