Andrew Jefford: This blend of the best grapes from the domaine’s premier cru holdings is much darker than the other premier cru wines and shows its new oak forcefully on the aromas. The palate is deep, full, lush, spicy and coffee-laden, but the fruit is struggling for a voice at present, and the price (almost double the Teurons) is overambitious.
