Nicolas Belfrage: Nose- and palate-wise, a little insipid. Correct, but without charm. 13
Stephen Brook: Deep red. Splendid ripe nose of cherries and plums - lovely fruit. Rich but rather soft and flabby, this has weight and reasonable concentration but lacks zest and excitement. Sound and solid, but rather dull. 14
Alison Buchanan: Rather mature colour, less intense, with definite garnet notes. The nose is very perfumed - faded roses, dried violets, coffee and spice, with some leather. The palate is very controlled, also perfumed, but restrained by quite dry tannin. Fresh, but I have a slight concern with excessively dried-out fruit and quite masked tannins. Better decanted. 14
