Andrew Jefford: Very pale for this tasting, with green glints. Sweet, softly sherbetty arom as: a snow of sherbet. Lime sherbet. Elegant and pure. Crisp, fresh, lively, very dry, but not rem otely unripe. Lovely elegance, finesse and aerial qualities here. Very much my style, but some may lam ent a kind of absence of fruited flesh to balance the fencer’s acidity. 16

Simon Larkin : One of the paler examples so far. Lovely exact aromas, ripe citrus and floral overtones, pleasantly lifted. On the palate, quite linear, focused with a good sense of purity. The acidity seems well balanced. The fruit tapers off a little abruptly. A shame, since this showed some class - sound, rather than inspiring. 13.5

Alexander Scott: Warmly spiced (cassia?), forthcoming scent. Fullish in the mouth, sustains interest, harm onious and reasonably intense, but without the im posing length of flavour of the Donhoff Niederhauser Hermannshole. Good, though. 14
